Version 2 is $25 and works on the same principles as Version 1 with the added benefit of Mentors who provide feedback on each assignment posted.  Version 2 students post in private Mentor's offices for feedback, with a minimum of 5 students and a maximum of 15 students assigned to each office.  Students registered for Version 2 are assigned to a Mentor who will provide lesson and feedback explanations, feedback on all assignments and answer assignment related questions.  Mentors are fellow students who enjoy helping writers grow by sharing the experience they have with the lessons presented.

Mentor feedback will concentrate on the posted assignment's content and how it relates to the lesson and lesson requirements.  Grammar, spelling and punctuation errors will not be emphasized unless they present obvious usage problems (there, they're, their) or affect the flow of the piece. Students whose assignments don't meet the requirements of the lesson will be asked to consider the feedback from peers and the assigned Mentor to rework what they have written and repost.  As always, Mentor and peer feedback is opinion and is in no way a definitive evaluation of a student's work.  All suggested remedies for 'rough spots' or 'areas needing improvement' are just that...suggestions.  Students are encouraged to ask questions on anything they find confusing either in the lesson itself or in feedback received.
